" I would like to enjoy harmony between my ideals and the days that make up my life. I hope to find fellowship among my peers. I am honoured to have the opportunity to poach their knowledge, to compare our visions, and to talk to a polite and captive audience about the Medieval texts I am reading. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Second Space

Second Space is a student-led project that organises discussion groups in which students can be exposed to other perspectives. We encourage individuals to express their opinions and to ask questions without fear of being "too ignorant" or unqualified to speak. We operate on a good-faith principle, where speakers will not seek to offend, as much as listeners will not seek to be offended. Although not mutually exclusive with safe spaces, Second Space emphasises an open space, where diversity of opinion is prioritised.
