Millennium Fellowship Project: THE SHE CAMPAIGN
Its a project that has been helping girls to stay in school and continue with their ezucation through providing them with sanitary pads.
About the Millennium Fellow
BUYEKA NADIA JOAN is a law student persuing her degree from Uganda christian university. She is 21 years old and so passionate about advocating for the girl child education. She believes most girls in uganda drop out of school due to lack of enough sanitary towels to use during their monthly periods. This makes them sit at home for atleast a week until there periods are done and most times some of them get frustrated and drop out of school. Nadia believes if these girls are donated with sanitary pads to help them in their monthly periods it can help them stay in school and empower girl child education thus creating a scocial impact in the society.
