Millennium Fellowship Project: Youth Empowerment Initiative

We did sensitization through university students from our university and other. Universities about mental health. This was as a result of realizing Youths around university are struggling with mental health and many are on drugs and and are typically depresssed. We started with organizing a mental health run which many students of UCU participated in. And many people really benefited from our guidance

About the Millennium Fellow

Am Kamusiime Brian, an innovative young man, have tried working on several projects to benefit our area but all has ended in vain because of lack of money. I have managed to be a top student in my school and because of that, I was appointed a Justice of the student's Tribunal, a body that is entitled with listening to matters concerning the student conflicts among themselves. Am a leader and very passionate with ensuring Justice is achieved. I am very excited because I look forward to learning a lot from these projects. I hate poverty so much because I grew up in a society of poor people and I have tried my level best to sensitize them to fight poverty through my small projects. So I look forward to gaining skills too help my community both student and home area communities.
