I hope to get exposure and learn from the alumni and get an Idea on how different cultures in the world influence the fight against global warming and climate change and how the millennials cope with the cultural pressures. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Green Network Initiative
The project is mainly centered around sdg 13 and is mainly working to reduce the negative impacts of climate change by both adaptation methods and mitigation.this can be through activities like afforestation and sensitization about the carbon footprint and how to reduce it.
About the Millennium Fellow
Butera Mico Michael is 24 year old male and currently a legal scholar at Uganda Christian University. Iam very Passionate about bringing change and a helping hand to the needy people and also preserving our planet for the generations to come. I have always had a need to help people and also bring a change in the society i grew up in, having grown up from a cattle keeping community i was able to learn how the effects of climate change could be so menacing to the day to day life of people in my community hence I decided to start up a project Mainly to address the issue of climate change and promote the sustainable development goals, number 8 in particular
