Millennium Fellowship Project: Good Health and Well-Being Awareness
The project of Good Health and Well-Being Awareness is multi-encompassing project which includes many arms, this includes focusing on the children whom are roaming about the school without proper health care, cares about the sanitation and hyegenic state of the hostel and the school campus, and lastly promote the importance of exclusive breastfeeding.
About the Millennium Fellow
MUHAMMED, Muhammed Nuhu, is a native of Ilorin, Kwara Nigeria and currently a final year student of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He has always been interested in health and hence decided to be part of those that contribute to the medical research community by making impactful and cutting edge research for healthy living and sustainability. Having interest in advancing treatment for health complications (diseases), he becomes more passionate at looking the underlying causes at the molecular level and making therapeutic interventions. He is keener on genomic diseases, metabolic and neurological disorders with this he decided to further his studies in Pharmacogenomics and biochemical neurology (also known as molecular and cellular neuroscience).
Muhammed is a serial volunteer and an advocate of Sustainable Development Goals. His advocacy revolves around SDG 3 while he partnered with other SDGs such as 1, 2 and 6. He is a research enthusiast and he interned at Centre for Advanced Medical Research and Training (CAMRET). Muhammed expertises are Microsoft offices, Data Analysis using Graph pad, effective communication, and teamwork through collaboration among others.
