United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

" I am an ardent believer of the term ‘ renewed hope.’ The reason why is simply because I understand people's governance. Before we can have renewed hope, definitely, we must have a diligent leader. Therefore, I'm so delighted to be among the selected individuals for the 2024 Millennium leadership class. I believe that everything required to be a good leader shall be taught during the section and the knowledge acquired will be the tools to shape my leadership skills and the fuel to set my boat sailing on the leadership sea "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Leadership

My project majorly revolved provision of some basic needs of the selected targeted basic education students in my environment who are lagging behind in their academic pursuits in regard to a lack of substantial basic school material e.g notebooks, pens, mathematical tablets and many other essential required tools that can enhance their learning

About the Millennium Fellow

Abdulwasiu Suleiman is a young Nigerian Whose admiration for good leadership is unmatched. He is an English language student undergraduate at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto Nigeria. He, Abdulwasiu is a writer: poet, essayist and campus reporter at the PEN-PRESS news outlet.
