Millennium Fellowship Project: The Environment, Our Home

We undertook an SDG-focused project focused on climate action (i.e., SGD 13), where we sensitized diverse groups in Ghana such as students (in junior high, senior high, and tertiary schools), educators, and individuals. We sensitized our audiences on the state of affairs of climate issues, globally. We demonstrated evidences of climate change (global warming) in the past few decades. We then narrowed our sensitisation to the Ghanaian context. We again demonstrated evidences of climate change in Ghana, how the Ghanaian contributes to the warming up of the atmosphere, and how detrimental the consequences are to the Ghanaian population and socio-economic status of the Ghanaian Society. We, finally, spelt put actionable measures all interest groups, including International organisations, government, and individuals, could play to act as binding forces to remediate the climate crisis Ghanaians are facing.
