United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Catalysts for Change Program

The Catalysts for Change program is a youth-led initiative aimed at improving the standard of living of children in remote areas focusing on their educational and social wellbeing. It also tackles key areas like their health and education through various impactful programs & projects.

About the Millennium Fellow

Alexis Konadu Essel is a second year Political Science and Philosophy &
Classics student at the University of Ghana. She was born in Kumasi, Chana and aspires to be a politician and a
diplomat in order to lead a course of a
positive change.
She seeks to embark on an initiative to
empower young children in rural areas in every aspect of their life in order to
create an environment where everyone
regardless of their background believes
in the validity of their dream and through
that she seeks to contribute her quota to
the United Nations Sustainable
Development Goals.
