About the Millennium Fellow
Gloria Apegwine Ayugane is a dedicated and results-oriented medical student at the University of Ghana. Born in Cape Coast, she currently resides in Accra, Ghana. Recently, Gloria has developed a keen interest in the critical area of beach safety and the role of AI in improving healthcare. These issues hold particular significance for her, and she is committed to contributing to their resolution. Her involvement in international initiatives and a strong focus on social action have shaped her into a well-rounded individual. Through leadership roles held during her high school and university years, Gloria has developed exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills. She aspires to become a compassionate and influential physician who can deliver high-quality care while addressing the broader health needs of her community by working with the United Nations.
