Millennium Fellowship Project: Discover Your Potential
Discover Your Potential is a virtual initiative led by Hamdiya Bashiru, aimed at empowering individuals to explore their strengths, set meaningful goals, and pursue personal and professional growth. Through online workshops and interactive sessions, the project helps participants develop self-awareness, confidence, and actionable plans for success. Focused on underserved communities, the initiative aligns with SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), providing access to personal development resources. By fostering a supportive community, Discover Your Potential creates a platform for individuals to unlock their full potential and make a positive social impact.
About the Millennium Fellow
Hamdiya Bashiru is a driven Political Science and Philosophy student at the University of Ghana with a passion for leadership, advocacy, and community impact. She has served as the Deputy Majority Whip in her university’s Parliament House and as Organizing Secretary for Enlightening the Future through Youth Mentorship, fostering a platform for young voices. Hamdiya’s experiences, from her beginnings as a cleaner to pursuing her dreams in higher education, reflect her resilience and dedication to social change. She envisions a career in politics, aspiring to be a voice for the voiceless and a champion for underprivileged communities.
