United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Youth FACE

Youth For A Clean Environment (Youth FACE) is a project that advocates and enforces a cleaner environment by engaging in cleaning the environment, especially coastal communities by accumulating wastes and recycling them into reusable materials. The project also include; educating the public on the need for cleaner environment, engaging in communal labour activities and raising awareness on the benefits of a cleaner environment.

About the Millennium Fellow

Michael Nii Noye Nuertey is a Level 200 student of the University of Ghana reading Geography and Resource Development.
He is passionate about the environments and humanity hence his interest in solving environmental issues like sanitation crisis in Kpone, Accra after completing 9th grade.
Michael is looking forward to working with the Millennium Class of 2024 soo solve environmental issues and to contribute to saving the planet.
