United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: The Elsie Endeavor

The Elsie Endeavor is a non profit organisation dedicated to connecting and turning girls who can into women who do primarily through mentorship. We run a 7 week program in junior high schools, matching them with volunteer mentors based on their long and short term goals and a personality test mentees take at the start of the program.

About the Millennium Fellow

Vanessa Delali Awo Ewhui Dei-Alorse is A passionate sociology and classics student currently studying at the University of Ghana, Legon. She was born in Accra, Ghana where she has lived most of her life albeit a few stints around the world due to her father's work as a senior army officer. She has always been passionate about representation of women especially women of colour in various industries, women's rights and girl child education and protection, which has led her to spend the better part of her life volunteering with various organizations and participating in various programs to aid in the causes she believes in. She is currently working towards taking the LSAT and plans on working in the legal field with a focus on immigration reform, human rights and family law.
