" "Change is not automatic, but it is a gradual process. A person with a kind, cooperative, and resilient mindset can make the environment a better place to live and grow. The Millennium Fellowship will broaden and enlighten my mind with the appropriate skills to effect social impacts on and off campus that are in line with the UNAI principles and SDGs. I am ecstatic to learn, explore, and navigate new paths or ways to alter the narrative in my community or environment." "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Say No To Drugs
Drug use, including Kush, zombie, and cocaine, is a serious issue Liberia, a West African country, is trying to overcome. Following fourteen years of civil conflict, Liberia faces a youth drug problem, with devastating consequences for individuals and the country as a whole. This national issue requires our urgent and serious consideration. Therefore, this project aims to bridge the knowledge gap among youths in secondary school about the harmful effects of drugs have on their physical health. The “SAY NO TO DRUGS ABUSE” project aims to educate 10,000 secondary school students on the harmful effects of drug abuse on individuals and society.
