United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Speak Bahasa Melayu

The "Speak Bahasa Melayu" programme is an initiative aimed at fostering cultural and linguistic integration among international students at Universiti Malaya. By focusing on Bahasa Melayu and Malaysia’s multicultural heritage, the programme provides opportunities for students to develop practical language skills while deepening their understanding of the local cultural landscape. This initiative aligns with Universiti Malaya’s mission to create an inclusive environment for diverse learners.

About the Millennium Fellow

Abrar Tahsin Fahim is young positve leader, who has been strifing from the very beginning of his life. He was born in third world country where struggling for life is what taught as a basic element of life. He completed his education life until high school in Bangladesh and later got accecptance in an reknowned university, Universiti Malaya where he is studying bachelor's of Economics. Economic unstability and discrimination throughout the world is what made him to pursue this degree. Throughout his school life and now also he has been engaged in a lot of philanthropic projects, charity works and been founder of an Non-profit organization too. Abrar's aim is to eleminate the economic, social discrimination and make this world a better place to live for all.
