Millennium Fellowship Project: Speak Bahasa Melayu
The "Speak Bahasa Melayu" programme is an initiative aimed at fostering cultural and linguistic integration among international students at Universiti Malaya. By focusing on Bahasa Melayu and Malaysia’s multicultural heritage, the programme provides opportunities for students to develop practical language skills while deepening their understanding of the local cultural landscape. This initiative aligns with Universiti Malaya’s mission to create an inclusive environment for diverse learners.
About the Millennium Fellow
Muhammad Mairaj is an enthusiastic and competitive Computer Science student at Universiti Malaya, always eager to learn and grow. Born in Pakistan and raised in Saudi Arabia, he studied in an international school with an Indian syllabus. Now pursuing a bachelor's degree in Malaysia, his multicultural upbringing has given him a unique and inclusive perspective within the community. Mairaj's passion to grow inspires him to delve into new and challenging environments and that drive is what allows him to take the steps to make a difference in the community. Mairaj aspires to gain knowledge, as he believes knowledge is power, and to use that knowledge along with his interest in Computer Science, and his determination to contribute in a meaningful way to the society.
