Millennium Fellowship Project: Speak Bahasa Melayu
The "Speak Bahasa Melayu" programme is an initiative aimed at fostering cultural and linguistic integration among international students at Universiti Malaya. By focusing on Bahasa Melayu and Malaysia’s multicultural heritage, the programme provides opportunities for students to develop practical language skills while deepening their understanding of the local cultural landscape. This initiative aligns with Universiti Malaya’s mission to create an inclusive environment for diverse learners.
About the Millennium Fellow
Yoonseo Han, a talented and globally engaged student of artificial intelligence at Universiti Malaya, hails from South Korea and lives in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Yoonseo's passion for community impact, student welfare, and social action has been a lifelong pursuit, evident from his early years. His leadership has flourished through various roles, including Treasurer for the Universiti Malaya Startup Community and organizer of multiple student-led events. These experiences have fueled his commitment to social justice and philanthropy, which he actively pursued throughout high school and continues in university. Yoonseo aims to further these advocacies professionally, contributing to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.
