Millennium Fellowship Project: Antimicrobial Resistance Awareness To Alabata Poultry Farmers
The project goal is to to educate farmers about the dangers of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and promote responsible use of antibiotics in livestock production.
This project was carried out by conducting farm visits to interact directly with farmers and provide practical advice on responsible antibiotic, proper livestock management practices and biosecurity measures.
About the Millennium Fellow
Bello Mariam Oluwafunke is a Veterinary Medical student of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta. She was born in Oyo state Nigeria and resides in Ibadan. Mariam has always been passionate about being a leader since her secondary school days, she loves addressing the public and loves giving out to the public.
