" I am extremely keen on the concept of self-development hence being a Millennium Fellow is a fantastic opportunity for my personal and professional growth. It will help develop my leadership skills, connect me with a global community of like-minded individuals who share my passion for creating positive change. Also, I am excited to be a millennium fellow because I will have access to experienced mentors who can guide and support me in my personal and professional journey.
I am hoping that as a Millennium Fellow, I will have opportunities to access funding for my projects and initiatives.
I'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact in my community and contribute to creating positive change in the world. I advocate for mental health because I am a service user and understand what challenges are associated with seeking professional help. I aim to make a difference using my own experiences as a starting point. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Mental Well-Being 1.0
Mental Well-Being 1.0 is a conference aimed at providing credible and professional information about mental health, the issues surrounding it and how to intervene as mental health advocates. During the course of the event, we invited professionals in the field to enlighten participants about the basics of mental health along with ways we could intervene as mental health advocates. The event also aims to bridge the gap in the mental health system in Nigeria by encouraging open conversations about the topic.
