Millennium Fellowship Project: Promoting Healthy Behaviors Through Community Engagement
Prevention of Food borne disease through food Safety education is a project that aims to educate the rural community by reaching out to secondary schools in underserved communities on disease around them and how they can be transferred into food and the importance of nutrition in promoting good health and well-being.
About the Millennium Fellow
Modinat Opeyemi, a driven and ambitious young individual from Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. Currently pursuing a degree in Microbiology at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Modinat is passionate about growth and dedicated to making a positive impact.
An active member of JCIN Funaab and Leadheart Initiative, Modinat has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, volunteering and directing various projects that align with sustainability goals. Her diplomatic prowess has been showcased at the Model United Nations Conference, where she contributed to solving pressing global issues.
Notably, Modinat serves as the Vice President of the National Association of Microbiology Students, Funaab Chapter, further solidifying her commitment to academic excellence and community engagement. With her tireless work ethic and unwavering dedication, Modinat is poised to achieve greatness and make a lasting impact in her field.
