Millennium Fellowship Project: Revolutionizing Health: Toxic-Free Water, Zero Mosquitoes
Empowering a Healthy Community: Clean Water, Mosquito-Free Living addresses inadequate clean water access and mosquito-borne diseases on the University of Nigeria Enugu campus. Our goals include:
- Improving clean water access for 80% of the target community
- Reducing mosquito-borne disease incidence by 50%
- Educating 90% of the target community on clean water and mosquito control practices
This initiative creates social impact by:
- Enhancing community health and well-being
- Increasing student and staff productivity
- Fostering community engagement and ownership
- Promoting sustainable development and public health awareness
By addressing these critical needs, we demonstrate community-led solutions for social change, improving lives and contributing to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
