United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Unlocking the Future focused on SDG4 and SDG 8 that is Quality Education and Decent work and Development. This project aim creating awareness vifbtge importance of being educated and mostly importanty the need to engage in a work that contribute positively to the society.

About the Millennium Fellow

Precious Nmesoma Ubanwa, is a student at the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus. she is passionate about empowering young people and fostering positive self-views. Residing in Enugu, she has been actively involved in initiatives that promote social welfare, youth Leadership and sustainable environmental goals. Ever since her secondary school years, she has participated and led valuable programmes, taking up leadership roles that have significantly impacted young people in her community. As an advocate for social work, she is actively participating in the Green Campus project which is aimed at promoting a campus wide plastic recycling campaign and implementation of green initiatives.
She aspires to work with an international body, where she can further cultivate her leadership skills and make a broader impact.
