About the Millennium Fellow
Ehigocho Abigail Jacob is a bright young student at the University of Abuja. She is a skilled, talented writer, a spoken word artist and a personal development enthusiast who is passionate about self development and strongly believe that reading is one of the medium to develop the mind. She is also passionate about effective leadership and her passion for leadership earned her a certificate from the JCI leadership Boot camp in the silver category. She yearns to see young people become avid readers and take intentional steps towards becoming better versions of themselves. Thus, she is an avid reader, a book advocate and a BookFluencer– influencing others to read and be equipped with the right knowledge. She is the anchor of The August Book-club, a platform where book discussions and monthly readings are held.
She has organised online webinars with over a hundred participants to promote the reading culture.
Abigail aspires to be in a professional field where she can further cultivate her advocacy for reading to promote quality education and provide her contribution in the development of the sustainable goals.
