United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Build a Library

I intend to create a community similar to a Library where people can have access to books and good conditions to read in. I also hope I can renovate the already existing libraries in my community

About the Millennium Fellow

Amra Onize Salihu is a bright, dedicated, and focused law student at the University of Abuja, Abuja, Nigeria. She was born and resides in Nigeria. As a high school student, Amra was very passionate about literary works and advancing the academic strength of her immediate society. Amra has always been a leader. At home, at school; in various capacities. She has always singled out herself as a dedicated leader concerned wholly with her growth and that if those around her. With experience leading and writing for student blogs, she excels at crafting compelling narratives that advocate for legal awareness and promote positive change. Her dedication to community service is evident through her involvement in humanitarian activities, fueling her desire to contribute meaningfully to initiatives and foster collaborative environments.
Amra is also a committed volunteer with renowned organizations, including YPC Africa, Project Hope Uniabuja, and Toddlers Haven Educational Foundation. Through these roles, she demonstrates her passion for creating impact and driving positive change. With her unique blend of legal expertise, creative writing skills, and leadership experience, Amra is poised to make a significant difference in her community and beyond.
Within and beyond her University setting, she has showcased her prowess in debates, moot trials, and mock trials, and carved a niche for herself. Her strengths include creative writing and storytelling, leadership and team management, public speaking and advocacy, and community engagement and outreach. Amra is dedicated to utilizing her skills and experience to drive meaningful impact and promote positive change. With experience leading and writing for student blogs, she excels at crafting compelling narratives that advocate for legal awareness and promote positive change.
