United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

" Being able to see the relief on the faces of the people after something as basic as free counselling gives, it fuels my drive to create more opputunities for people who would otherwise not speak up. Being able to connect people who share the same burdens and pains helps to ease the healing process. I am excited to be given a chance to share the same space with people of similar ideas and the opputunity to broaden my work process an have more social impact. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: The Non-Fragile Person

The Non-Fragile Person is a project geared towards the development and sustenance of a mentally healthy individual as well as the support of young mothers in struggling environments.

About the Millennium Fellow

Michelle Chinaemelum Obiadazie is a medical student, passionate about health care in Nigeria. She has always been very enthusiastic about issues pertaining with basic Medical care and the wellbeing of individuals, especially children and young mothers.
Having been opportune to serve at centres and in outreach programmes, she looks forward to being able to help grow the amount of people being able to receive first point of care treatment.
Michelle aspires to work in the public health sector where she would be able to have more reach and add to the voices advocating for the development of the Sustainable Goals.
