" I, personally, have no idea about how to bring about the change I desire but I'm hoping to learn as much as I possibly can in being a Millennium fellow. I want to help and that's what I am going to do "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Food Cost Reduction In Nigeria
My project aims at food cost reduction specific for now to the higher institutions. I plan to make food available at more affordable prices for a student's budget not where we're being sold 5 tomatoes at #200, soft drinks, a no go area. Cost of food to be prepared in a day now #2000 above with no increase in salaries to compensate for food spike. The food price risen some by 100% others 75%. Students can't afford food anymore in a country as blessed as Nigeria. So that's my goal to address underlying causes of this problem like manufacturers and traders greed by looking for a cheaper source and supplying foodstuff to the students at honest rates always following the bottom line of no unnecessary hunger
