Millennium Fellowship Project: Advocacy For Social Change
The project focuses on creating awareness and sensitizing the general piblic especially those in rural areas about their obligations and rightsas citizens of the country, as they are the ones largely affected by this issue.
About the Millennium Fellow
Nuhu Yakubu is a very bright and vibrant young man. He is from Edo State, Nigeria but
grew in a town called Jiwa in the federal Capital. He has lived all his life in Abuja and is
currently attending the University of Abuja as an undergraduate student of the
department of History and Diplomatic Studies. His drive for accountability in
governance and human rights was birthed due to experiences growing up from a
remote village in the city of Abuja, Nigeria. Yakubu aspires to make his own
contribution in the realisation of the United Nation's development goals.
