Millennium Fellowship Project: Be Informed to Be Reformed
We will host 3 physical outreaches or online onentation programmes with a range of two hundred to three hundred persons in attendance on tackling the menace of outdated and Standardized nature of the current education system which fails to adequately prepare students for the complex and dynamic encounters they will encounter in the future. The physical outreaches will be in schools, and the Community and the online programs would be targeted at students to ensure they are properly informed about the need for an education reform in our day and age and also encouraging the to be a good advocate for education reform too
About the Millennium Fellow
Obelawo Deborah Oluwaferanmi is a distinguished 400-level radiography student at the University of Benin, currently residing in Benin City, Nigeria. Born in Osun State, Deborah has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to academic excellence and community service.
Her passion for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) drives her to actively engage in initiatives that promote education, healthcare, and sustainable development within her community. Deborah’s leadership skills have been honed through various roles, where she has made significant contributions to the betterment of her peers and society at large.
Deborah’s academic journey is marked by her dedication to personal and professional growth. She is not only focused on excelling in her studies but also on leveraging her knowledge and skills to create a lasting impact. Her projects and activities reflect a deep-seated belief in the power of community service as a catalyst for positive change.
With a clear vision for the future, Deborah aspires to utilize her expertise in radiography to enhance healthcare services, ensuring they are accessible and effective.
