Millennium Fellowship Project: Creating Awareness About Gender Equality

This project is all promoting gender equality and inclusivity. This project aims to foster a community where every individual regardless of gender or socia economic background, has equal access to and benefits from education. By advocacy, it would challenge gender stereotypes, empower girls and women and create an inclusive learning for all.

About the Millennium Fellow

Biography
Ododo Angel Onyebuchi is a dynamic young woman with a passion for promoting gender equality, addressing gender-based violence, and fostering positive social change. Currently pursuing her academic journey at the University of Benin, Nigeria, Angel is a dedicated student, writer, content creator, and social media manager.
Angel's commitment to making a difference is evident through her active involvement in various leadership programs and initiatives. She has participated in programs such as Gela, Culture of peace×FLT, and the Institute of Economics and Peace Ambassador program, demonstrating her leadership skills and dedication to social causes. As a member of the Gender Mobile Initiative on Campus, Angel actively contributes to creating a more inclusive and equitable environment for her peers.
Beyond her academic and leadership pursuits, Angel has also honed her professional skills through programs like the UPG Sustainability Leadership program and the Africa Agility Brand and Marketing Bootcamp. Her participation in these initiatives showcases her adaptability and dedication to personal and professional growth.
Angel's commitment to social impact extends beyond her academic and professional endeavors. She has volunteered with organizations focused on gender equality, quality education, women's empowerment, and climate change. Through her volunteer work, Angel actively contributes to addressing pressing global challenges and creating a more just and sustainable world.
