" Millennium Fellowship will offer me the opportunity to network with high achieving Fellows who are advocates of change and social impact in their communities. This will enable me to learn and share ideas with like minded communities across my campus and work for the change we seek. Ikeagwuani Onyedika Michael is a serial volunteer and have participated in Health outreaches and similar programs before.He is presently a volunteer in DNEO foundation,an NGO that prioritise SDGs 2,3,4,6,9 and 11.Notable example was on November 26,2021 when we organised z two-in-one education programme "Education-for-all and save their future projects(SDG 4) which took place at Obufa Esuk Government primary school,Calabar,Cross River State,Nigeria. Owed school fees were cleared up,and basic learning materials like D-NEO foundation exercise books ,school bags and other necessary materials. Ikeagwuani Onyedika Michael always derives joy in any act that puts smile on people's faces. Millennium Fellowship will grant him opportunity to network and work with people who seek to bringing to fruition the Sustainable Development Goals of United Nations "

Sustainable Development Goal 3 addresses Health and Wellbeing. Mental health is an aspect of health that is often neglected especially in this part of the world. Mental health advocacy and awareness seek to address all issues that forms barricades against people seeking help on time
About the Millennium Fellow
Ikeagwuani Onyedika Michael is a student of university of Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria. He is currently pursuing degree in bacherlor of dental surgery. Presently in his undergraduate years,he has held some positions,which include,a parliamentarian representing his class in Calabar University Dental Students Association, secretary,committee on health in Parliament,where he worked diligently with other executive of the association in organising one of the biggest oral health outreach on 20th of March, 2020,with the theme 'Say Ahhh,Unite for mouth health' in partnership with Colgate.Free dental check up were carried out on over 100 patients that day.He is also an active volunteer, he is a volunteer in Committee on Dental Health and Education(CODEH),where he was involved in fundraising that helped organised CODEH outreach at Calabar Municipal Council, Cross River State where there was oral hygiene talk,free oral screening,scaling and polishing,free blood sugar test,free Body Mass Index,free blood pressure test that benefited over 200 people in the community.He is a volunteer in D-NEO FOUNDATION, a Non-governmental organisation that is deeply involved in projects in their adopted SDGs which are,2,3,4,6,9,and 11.One of the event was carrying out SDG 4 project,which was geted at education. D-NEO FOUNDATION organised a successful education programme in November 26,2021 at Obufa Esuk Government primary school, Calabar,where they cleared up school fees for people on verge of being driven out from school,due guardian's financial constraints, gave out some exercise books,school bags,maths-set and other necessary materials. He is an active member of Federation of Catholic Medical and Dental Students,University of Calabar chapter,where he has been involved in outreaches organised by this association, he is as well a member of Christian Medical and Dental Association, University of Calabar chapter,where he was involved in outreaches,including a health outreach at Army Barracks,Eburutu Cantonment,where the association reached out to over 500 patients,and more than 20 surgeries were done on patients with cataract, hernia, teeth problems and others by their surgeons.
