Millennium Fellowship Project: Mental Health Advocacy And Awareness: Mind Your Mind
Sustainable Development Goal 3 addresses Health and Wellbeing. Mental health is an aspect of health that is often neglected especially in this part of the world. Mental health advocacy and awareness seek to address all issues that forms barricades against people seeking help on time
About the Millennium Fellow
Uket Ukweni is an exceptional and dedicated young lady. She is a Nigerian currently studying medicine and surgery in the university of calabar, calabar, cross river state, Nigeria.
A serial volunteer for mostly non-governmental organizations including street priest and pink Africa foundation who is driven by her commitment to SDG 3 and 4. She is currently her campus local officer for the Technical Office for Water Sanitation and Hygiene (TO-WASH) under Nigerian Medical Student Association (NIMSA)
Over her years in the university , she has served as both a volunteer and organizer of various outreaches and programs gearing towards enhancing the health and improving the knowledge through education of her community members.
She committed to using her skills and knowledge gained to make a positive difference in the lives of others, and seeks to make a meaningful impact through collaborative efforts and community engagement.
