United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: The Healthy Child Project

The Healthy Child Project is an initiative focused on improving the health and hygiene of young children. It aims to address specific issues like:
Personal Hygiene: Promoting proper handwashing techniques and other essential hygiene practices.
Worm Prevention: Educating children and their families about the risks of worm infections and preventive measures.

About the Millennium Fellow

Rector Expect Nan'ayhi is a dynamic and socially conscious medical student at the University of Jos, Nigeria. His fervent dedication to public health and aspiration for global leadership shines through his academic pursuits and extracurricular involvements.
As the founder of 'The EduHealth Initiative', a non-profit organization focused on fostering a healthier, fairer, and a more sustainable world, Rector has demonstrated an exceptional ability to translate his passion into tangible action. Through the initiative, Rector has spearheaded campaigns addressing pressing health issues such as drug and substance abuse, while also organizing free medical screenings to serve the community. His influence extends beyond the classroom, as evidenced by his roles as Campus Representative at the Nigerian Medical Students' Association's Emerging Leaders Forum, he's a member of the Nigerian Medical Students' Association's Standing Committee on Public Health (SCOPH), and an active participant in the Jos University Medical Students' Association's research community (JURES).
