United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Empower Ed: Bridging Learning Gaps

Empower Ed: Bridging Learning Gaps is a project aimed at giving children in low-income areas access to quality education by providing learning materials and teaching them basic literacy skills at no cost.

About the Millennium Fellow

Queen Adagwu is a proactive law student at the prestigious University of Jos, Nigeria. Her choice of the legal profession is spurred by her passion to bridge gaps and the need to engage in social reform programs, thus her volunteer role with Nongovernmental organizations. She was born in North Central region and lives in Jos city, she loves to explore, analyse and make impacts, Queen has always been motivated to a catalyst of change in her community and beyond and the reason she is a member of Amnesty International that promotes human rights across countries. She serves also on the research team in her faculty chamber and love to contribute her quota, she loves to learn and network.
