Millennium Fellowship Project: Empower Ed: Bridging Learning Gaps
Empower Ed: Bridging Learning Gaps is a project aimed at giving children in low-income areas access to quality education by providing learning materials and teaching them basic literacy skills at no cost.
About the Millennium Fellow
Zipporah Adigun is an individual who is passionate about the education of children in the early years, as this is the foundation which to a large extent determines the trajectory of their education in the future.
By volunteering with a kids' reading club, participating in read aloud sessions in low-income schools on World Read Aloud Day, and facilitating teaching studios in workshops for teachers, she has contributed to the betterment of education in her locality.
