Millennium Fellowship Project: Operation: Clean Lagos Gutters
Operation: Clean Lagos Gutters is a project targeting the communal issue of wrong and inappropriate disposal of waste in Lagos' gutters. A gutter clean-up event was held on Owodele street on the 6th of November, 2024, with the help of about 20 secondary school students from Atunrase High School and St. Joseph Snr Secondary school.
About the Millennium Fellow
Akinyemi Barakat Ayomide,is a bright vibrant and young medical student of the college of medicine, university of Lagos. She was born in Nigeria ,lives in Nigeria and currently studying in Nigeria. She is passionate about child's health,social justice and gender equality. With this drive, throughout her high school and currently now in college,she has joined different non governmental organizations to advocate for gender equality and social justice . She aspires to be in a professional field where her voice and advocate for gender equality, child's health and social justice could be heard.
