Webinar title: Addressing Financial barriers to unlock future ready opportunities: Equipping University Students for Financial Survival
Description:
This project is a dedicated effort to combat financial barriers hindering access to quality education for university students. Through a carefully curated webinar, the initiative provides students with practical financial survival strategies, enabling them to navigate their academic journeys without compromising educational excellence due to financial challenges.
By partnering with the career development team of my university, the webinar covers topics like budgeting, accessing scholarships, managing student loans, and building sustainable financial habits. The project aims to empower students, foster resilience, and create pathways for academic success, regardless of their financial circumstances.
Impact:
The project seeks to uplift financially disadvantaged students by equipping them with the tools to thrive academically and personally, contributing to a more equitable educational environment

About the Millennium Fellow

DANIEL OLUWAFERANMI JAMES is a multi talented and goal driven economics student of the university of Lagos Nigeria. He was born in Nigeria and he resides in Lagos. He is passionate about learning and self-improvement. A talented violinist with a love for music and singing, he also finds joy in helping others in any way he can. Committed to making a difference, he works on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and excels academically, always striving for excellence in all he does.
