" "As a Millennium Fellow, I am excited to connect with others who share my passion for creating a more inclusive and sustainable world. My dedication to advocating for deaf persons stems from a childhood experience—having a deaf friend who was often mistreated due to their disability. This fueled my desire to ensure that every individual, regardless of their abilities, is treated with dignity and respect. My work in finance and climate tech, alongside my advocacy for the deaf community, is driven by a deep commitment to making a lasting positive impact on society." "
Millennium Fellowship Project: One Sound
OneSound is an initiative aimed at fostering inclusion and empowerment for individuals who are deaf. This project creates a vibrant community where members can connect, learn, and achieve personal and collective goals. By forming strategic partnerships with schools and community centers, OneSound facilitates sign language education for children and adults, promoting effective communication and mutual understanding. Through these efforts, the initiative envisions a more inclusive society where everyone, regardless of ability, feels heard and valued.
