About the Millennium Fellow
Motunrayo Folorunsho, an epitome of resilience, determination and hardwork, is currently in her third year, studying law, at the University of Lagos, Nigeria. Her career path stemmed from her exposure to the world of justice and law making at a young age. Having served as the deputy majority leader in the Lagos State children's parliament at the age of 16, she has come to understand how effective and just laws help shape the society and better the lives of her citizenry. In her capacity as one of the Lagos State youth Ambassadors, Motunrayo has also explored bridging the gap between the government and the youths in the state by implementing projects that speak to the affairs of the youths. Also, being an avid volunteer, Motunrayo has volunteered widely for humanitarian causes and she currently volunteers with the Lagos food bank, Adebam Foundation, shift Ng, etc. just to mention a few. Motunrayo is very excited about the opportunity and platforms that the Millennium Fellowship has to offer and she is very eager to explore the said platform.
