Millennium Fellowship Project: Campus Recycling Community
This project aims to change people's attitudes toward plastic recycling and proper waste management. We started with the sustainability challenge, where the university community recycled their PET bottles for incentives. Recently we had the Federal All-Africa University (FASU) games that have existed for 53 years. The idea came to integrate plastic recycling into sports and create the first-ever carbon table in FASU games. The project was named "GREEN FASU"
About the Millennium Fellow
Musab Onaopemipo Is-haq is a young vibrant youth interested in sustainability and circular economy. He is currently a student of University of Lagos studying zoology. He began his journey into sustainability after high school. He started with educating young children in the University community and He also participated in clean ups and recycling campaign.
Musab is passionate about a cleaner and a greener environment.
