United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Climate Nexus: Voices for Change

An enlightenment campaign aimed at equipping university students in Lagos Nigeria with the knowledge and tools to participate in global conversations about climate action and climate change, understanding how it affects us locally and globally and what we can do to address the issue

About the Millennium Fellow

Praise Odubela is a bright and ambitious young person, born in Nigeria and currently resides in Lagos state as a medical student in the College of Medicine, University of Lagos.
He has always had an interest in the climate and when he learned that the climate was changing in many negative ways, he felt a need to take action. He has volunteered in several sustainable development goals initiatives locally and participated in Climate action movements both locally and globally. He has taken several courses in climate science to better understand the problem and how to solve it.
