" Becoming a Millennium Fellow excites me because it’s an opportunity to grow and contribute more meaningfully to the SDG and UNAI goals. Education is transformational, and through this fellowship, I aim to enhance my ability to impact my community and beyond, empowering others and advancing the quality of education. This journey is about building a better future, one where everyone has the tools and opportunities to succeed. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: BrightFuture
BrightFutures is a community-driven initiative aimed at bridging educational and social gaps among children in Ketu. Partnering with Elim Chapel's summer school program, the project provided a safe, engaging, and productive learning environment during school breaks.
The program offered lessons in core academic subjects, skill-building crafts, music, and social etiquette, fostering both intellectual and personal growth. Writing materials were distributed to support active participation and enhance learning outcomes.
By equipping children with the tools for academic and social success, BrightFutures addressed the lack of structured, constructive activities during vacations.
