Millennium Fellowship Project: MOJA- Bridging The Skill Gap, Building Dreams
MOJA is an initiative that empowers young people by providing access to self-paced learning in coding, digital skills, career development, and personal growth. Through a user-friendly platform, MOJA offers resources to help learners build practical skills for the digital economy, including coding and other essential tech skills. Our mission is to create an inclusive, safe space where everyone can learn at their own pace and pursue their dreams. MOJA supports SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by making education accessible and preparing youth for success in the digital world.
About the Millennium Fellow
Omolabake Adegoroye, born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, is in her penultimate year studying Building at the University of Lagos. She holds an HND in Computer Science from Woolf University and is a software engineer. Omolabake has been recognized by the Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) for transforming plastic waste into construction materials. She interned at Kibo School, managing over a thousand students learning Python and web development, and developed a chatbot at SeqHub, an AI research company, to support sickle cell patients. Aspiring to be a global innovator, Omolabake is dedicated to solving the world's most pressing problems.
