Millennium Fellowship Project: EmpowerU: Innovating Communities Through Education And Sustainability
The overall aim of EmpowerU is to create a more equitable and sustainable future by educating and empowering students and communities. Through a focus on equality, education, health, and sustainability, we seek to foster a generation that is not only aware of their rights and responsibilities but is also actively contributing to a healthier, more inclusive, and environmentally conscious society.
About the Millennium Fellow
Opeyemi is a forward-thinking student with excellent analytical prowess and good knowledge of accounting and risk management. Highly
self- disciplined, skilled in task and has the ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Very resourceful and
teachable, having readily transferrable skills.
She was born in Ogun State, resides in Lagos State, Nigeria and she's currently studying at the University of Lagos. Opeyemi has always been passionate about her advocacy for social rights. She has done various voluntary work, contributing to society. She has also interned at Obasanjo Holdings Limited and Leadway Assurance. Opeyemi aspires to be professional in her field and contribute to the development of the United Nations' Sustainable Goals.
