The skills and connections I gain will enhance my ability to drive meaningful change in education, poverty alleviation, and employment, ensuring that young people have the resources and opportunities to shape a better future. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: The Launchpad
Launchpad project is a youth-led project that
aims to bridge the gap between the education
young people receive in school, the skills
required in the global market and how they can
be prepared for the future of work and for jobs
that may not even exist yet.
The Launchpad is a four-month-long immersive
fellowship experience for young people to get
them to succeed in the global market. The Project is divided into two phases. The first phase
is the learning phase strictly for a month while
the second phase is a long paid internship
opportunity for three months where young people
are matched with their Host Organisations to network with industry experts and gain relevant
practical experiences as well as insights into the inner workings of the industry.
During the Launchpad, young people have access to lifelong mentorship, gain valuable
professional experience and capacity building and development.
The Launchpad project aims to reduce poverty
and one way to achieve this is by fighting
unemployment among fresh university graduates.
