" I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it offers a unique platform to amplify my passion for sustainability and climate education. I do this work because I believe that informed, collective action is key to addressing the environmental challenges we face. By bridging gaps in climate knowledge, I hope to empower my community to create a more sustainable future. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Plastic Purge

Plastic Purge is a student-led initiative dedicated to combating plastic pollution within school environments, particularly at the University of Lagos, one of Nigeria's largest and most vibrant campuses. With the campus's proximity to a lagoon exacerbating the mismanagement of plastic waste, this project seeks to address both immediate and long-term environmental challenges caused by plastic pollution.
