United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Empowering Health, Sustaining Community

Secondary school outreach program was organised on Antimicrobial resistance where over 100 students including teachers were enlightened on what Antimicrobial resistance is and their role to play in combating Antimicrobial resistance and the consequences if the proper guidelines are not being followed.

About the Millennium Fellow

Hikmot Abdulkareem is an intelligent, social and passion driven lady ,she is currently in her 6th year of study, studying veterinary medicine in the university of Ilorin, Nigeria.Hikmot has always had the zeal to save lifes and to help hee immediate community. She has engaged in a lot of community work including vaccination programs,school outreaches and enlightenment program. These works made her love the work she does and is interested in doing more.
