Millennium Fellowship Project: Anti Drug Abuse Drive

The project is a campaign against drug abuser especially amongst especially. It is mostly going to secondary schools and speaking on the negative effects of drug abuse. What we will be doing is that we will be visiting secondary schools to tell them about drug addictions and give them tips on how to live addiction free lives. The reason for this is that people usually get it wrong at this stage, most drug addicts started in their secondary school days. Another thing is that we will be hosting workshops and seminars on campus just to educate students on drug addiction and how to come out of it. We will also be having a private follow-up programme for people who are already addicts. We will also do rallies in public places including market places, this is were we find parents/prospective parents helping them understand how they can protect their children from this ill. It is a

About the Millennium Fellow

Ayokunlemi Ajirinsola is a committed medical student at the University of Ilorin College of Health Sciences, born in Lagos, Nigeria. Deeply concerned about the rise in drug addiction among the youth in his country, Ayokunlemi is not just focused on highlighting the problem but is also passionate about finding solutions. He envisions a future where young people are empowered through education and rehabilitation programs that address the root causes of addiction. Ayokunlemi believes that by fostering community awareness and strengthening support systems, society can reclaim the potential of its youth and reduce the crime associated with drug abuse. He is determined to be part of the change, advocating for policies and initiatives that will protect the next generation from the perils of drug addiction.
