United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: The Green Club: A Climate Education Initiative

The Project focuses on educating students, youths, and members of society on climate action and the issues surrounding climate change. We engage in various Community outreach projects, clean-up campaigns, and webinars to enhance our advocacy on the problems of climate change and its effects on our atmosphere like global boiling (global warming).

About the Millennium Fellow

Ali Olatunbosun Abdul-Quadir is a Law Student at the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Kwara State Nigeria. Born and raised in Lagos Nigeria, Ali is an active advocate of social justice and human rights. His interest in solving societal problems and human rights issues has been the major drive in his professional life as he studied law and has also taken various professional courses on human rights and social problems. He is an active volunteer and driver in initiatives that seek to combat multiple societal problems, particularly climate change and poverty/hunger in underserved areas in Africa and the world. Ali is currently the co-convener and Vice President of the Green Club at, the University of Ilorin (a student club focused on combating and addressing climate change issues in the university and its host community).
