" Every day we are faced with problems of various shades, and to ensure that our productivity is not hampered, we have to create solutions that are efficient and effective. One way I believe I can create that efficacious solution that'll better our community and increase capacity is by helping individuals and communities as a whole maintain a health status that is optimal.
I believe this program will grant me access to these resources and mentorship and will furnish me with the requisite skill set and knowledge to help me achieve my goal of helping individuals of all calibre, communities and in extension the larger society maintain the best health status pIossible. I also want to inspire other youngsters out there that they can always shoot for their dreams, regardless of the limitations and hurdles and that they are not too young to be a solution provider.
I also believe the Millennium Fellowship program will exert a degree of boldness and competence for deploying excellence in every sphere of my life, academics inclusive. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: PoleStar Health Initiative
The PoleStar Health Initiative project, centered on sensitizing people in the informal sector like market women, on the availability of the Kwara State Health insurance scheme, that allows them access quality healthcare for themselves and children at a very reasonable reduced cost for a whole year.
Beyond the sensitization, we helped with the pre-registration of some of these women and men for this scheme, as most of this women don't know how to handle digital devices.
