Millennium Fellowship Project: Empowering Health, Sustaining Community
Secondary school outreach program was organised on Antimicrobial resistance where over 100 students including teachers were enlightened on what Antimicrobial resistance is and their role to play in combating Antimicrobial resistance and the consequences if the proper guidelines are not being followed.
About the Millennium Fellow
Nahimah Opeyemi Idris is a fifth year veterinary student from the University of Ilorin. She is from a Small town, Aiyegunle Gbedde in Kogi state, Nigeria. She is passionate about improving the quality of lives of people, particularly those from rural areas. She is particularly enthusiastic in areas of good health and wellbeing, clean water and sanitation and reducing poverty.
