" Learning broadens your scope, inspires you and increases your confidence.
Being a part of the Millennium Fellowship will allow me to learn - gain a global perspective on the SDGs, especially Goal 3, and how various people are ardently pursuing them. I am excited to enhance my critical thinking, analysis, leadership, and collaboration abilities, all of which are necessary to drive tangible social impact. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Heart-Check

Project Heart-Check is a social awareness campaign aimed at combating hypertension in underserved communities. The project educates people on the causes, symptoms, prevention, and management of high blood pressure, with a focus on creating awareness through digital platforms, radio outreach, and physical campaigns. By targeting teens, young adults, adults, and seniors, it promotes regular blood pressure monitoring and connects individuals to accessible healthcare services. Through the #GetChecked initiative, the project seeks to empower individuals with knowledge and encourage proactive health management.
